We can supply thermal transfer labels in a range of materials that are top-coated to accept resin, wax, or wax/resin-based thermal transfer ribbons. These labels can be supplied with or without printing. We also have a range of overlaminates that are also coated for thermal transfer printing. Through our supply partner, we can provide thermal transfer ribbons in various widths, lengths, and colors to meet your requirements. In addition to thermal transfer labels, we can also supply direct thermal labels. All labels can be supplied on a range of core sizes and quantities to suit your specific thermal transfer printer.

Wax ribbon

These are the softest ribbons. They are suitable for short-term and light-duty applications. They provide an image that is better protected against fading than direct thermal labels.

Resin ribbon

These are by far the most durable and abrasion-resistant of the three ribbon formulations. They are suitable for extreme heat or cold, harsh chemicals and solvents, rough abrasives, and outdoor environments. They have a wide range of typical uses, such as labeling medical devices and electrical components / printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Wax/resin ribbon

Wax/resin is more durable than full wax in terms of scratch and smudge resistance. Wax/resin blends are resistant to moderate to harsh chemicals and also to extreme temperatures. Common applications include laboratory labels, outdoor product labels, or UL markings.
