Front overlay

A front overlay, also known as an overlay, is the first thing your customer sees when they pick up your product. It is made from the highest-quality materials to ensure durability in the harshest environments.

Our front overlays are designed for industries that require extra robustness and provide a durable interface between user and product. They are manufactured to the highest standards and in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and UL approval.

All products are manufactured to the customer’s unique specifications and requirements.

Graphic overlays are produced on polycarbonate, polyester, or MR-PVC material. They can include clear or tinted windows so the overlay can display a machine screen. Cut-outs for buttons or knobs can also be provided.

Bischoff can produce your graphic overlays using screen printing, digital printing, or a combination of both—an ideal solution for smaller or larger production volumes.

Durability

We manufacture overlays using a reverse printing process. This is the best method for products used in harsh outdoor environments or subjected to rigorous cleaning processes. They are resistant to chemicals, oils, and abrasion.

Precision

Graphic overlays are often fitted into moulded recesses. Our range of precision cutting techniques ensures we meet your tolerances.

Versatility

Each overlay can be manufactured to a specific design and layout, providing greater flexibility in terms of size, format, materials, and finishes.

Embossing

For many applications, Bischoff embosses or hydroforms switch buttons to meet customer requirements. Depending on the desired finish of the final membrane, “Pillow Embossing”, “Dome Embossing”, “Rail Embossing”, or “Multi-Level Embossing” can be used.
