| An emerging trend in the manufacture of Smart Labels is the use of RFID inlays. An RFID inlay, also known as an RFID transponder or RFID tag, consists of a microchip attached to an antenna. Typically the inlay antenna for a Smart Label is a printed or etched conductive pattern affixed to a plastic substrate. These components are then placed into a pressure sensitive label. At System Label we have the technology to place RFID tags onto standard labels to create a Smart Label. |
